We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our recent survey.

We’ve had over 13,000 of you tell us all about the features you think would be useful as a motorist, what you find most frustrating as a motorist, and how you think we can improve our service for you. We are now going to use these results to help us plan our new feature releases and create a product which doesn’t only save you money on fuel prices, but saves you money across all of your motoring expenses.

If you would like to see the full survey results, take a look at our colourful infographic below. (click the image to see the full size graphic.)

Are the results as you expected?

It would be really useful to have supermarket offers on here. Sainsbury's recently had a spend £60 save 6p per litre, Tesco similar. They are quite common now but you never know until you get the coupon at the till. If you need petrol and food you could combine your trip and save money.

Initially I thought this website and the email alert facility would be useful - until I realised that the information coming through on the email alerts was at least 2 days old and therefore out-of-date and incorrect. Are you planning on improving this at all?

On your weekly bulletin could you show the nation average price as well as local prices so we have a better comparison. It seems that when price are given on tv they are much lower than locally, plus when I drive 10 miles outside our town the prices are 5p less.
When on holiday this year in Devon/Cornwall the prices were cheaper than our local prices yet distribution costs must have been more?

One huge problem with this site....and nobody has commented. There should be a petition to government to FORCE fuel stations to show what amount of ETHANOL is present at the pumps.
OK in meantime why not have petrolprices to add the ethanol content...E0..E5 and soon E10.
My cars only run properly on premium unleaded 95RON BS EN 228 and as such only Total garages are able to provide for my needs.

Didn't know about the survey; sorry.
Interesting story from the Western Isles. Prices there (Stornoway) have always been high, even after the tax was reduced by 5p/l they soon went up again. A couple of weeks ago one garage broke free from its contract with Scottish Fuels and called in another supplier to make a delivery. The price was 8p/l less that the previous SF monopoly. Makes me wonder how many other remote areas are being ripped off like that.

Bought diesel in Calais France yesterday @ euros 1.42 a litre. In uk the price was £1.42 a litre maybe we should join the euro! (I filled up)

I see cars pulling into private garages around my area, and the pump prices are 7p higher than the usual price at the next petrol station which is about 1/2 a mile further on. For the life of me, I cannot understand what makes people go to these rip-off merchants, but they do!!!
Some petrol stations also seem to have higher prices than the one 200-300yrds further on, I think they are ripping us off left right and center, there should be a standard price for fuel.

I asked to see Total fuel stations within 10 mls of my postcode, the result was nil.
There are at least three that I know, what happened to them all?

    Hi David,

I'm afraid there is no option to display only garages belonging to a particular brand and the results will include 10 cheapest garages within a 10-mile radius instead. Perhaps none of the Total garages made it to the top 10 but if you let us know the postcode you're referring to, we will be able to double check it for you.

    Regards,

I was too late to take the survey but most interested in the results. Good luck in the future. I use the site to find out if fuel in Grimsby is cheaper than in Salisbury and 99% of the time it is!!!
