Save an extra 4p if you live in Northern Ireland

If you live in Northern Ireland, you can save an extra 4p off each litre of fuel. There is a promotion running in the Belfast Telegraph with selected Spar, Eurospar, Vivo and Vivoxtra stations.
You need to buy a copy of the Belfast Telegraph newspaper any day until Wednesday August 30 to get 4p off each litre of fuel. You must use the coupon by midnight on September 3, 2006.

It is also the same in England, If you have an Asda credit card and use it to buy your fuel, you get 2p off each litre of fuel that you purchase.

The supermarket prices are still cheaper even with the 4p/litre off. The spar etc stations are priced at more than 4p/litre that the supermarkets therefore no saving with this offer.

In Scotland, if you get an ASDA store or credit card and pay your fuel with it, you get an immediate 2p off per litre. Not sure if this is so for the rest of UK.

Does everyone know that at the moment if you spend £50 or over in Sainsbury's you get 5p off a litre of fuel. At the moment in N Ireland unleaded petrol is 91.9 at Sainsbury's but with your 5p off, it comes down to 86.9.

It is always good to see offers like this as it is a step in the right direction.
But the Belfast Telegraph is about 50p. The participiting petrol stations are not in the price war. I don't buy any newspapers.
So I think it would be impossible for me to save money on this offer when Tesco just 1 mile away is selling petrol for 92.9p per litre.
