Logging in with Fubra Passport
You need to register with PetrolPrices Pro in order to access the application. Registration is performed via our authentication service, Fubra Passport. You may already have an account with this service (as it's the same one used to access the online site, PetrolPrices.com) in which case you can use the same email and password for PetrolPrices Pro. If you don't have an account, you can sign up online or use the in-app registration process to quickly register an account, completely free of charge.
Search
PetrolPrices Pro will automatically attempt to find your location. You will need to enable location updates in PetrolPrices Pro in order for this to work - your iPhone should ask you this automatically when you run the app. If you have any problems with finding your location you can attempt to reset the iPhone's location settings for PetrolPrices Pro by removing and reinstalling the app from the App Store. You won't be charged again for doing this.
Problems finding your location? If you'd prefer, you can use the button on the Search page to switch off location searching and specify a location (town or postcode) instead. You can do this at any time, for example if you're planning to buy petrol in another location instead of the one you're currently at.
Fuel Data
Our fuel data is updated every day Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) and supplied directly by the price that fuel card users are paying at the pump every day at over 9,000 petrol station locations.
Price Updates
Your purchase of PetrolPrices Pro for iPhone includes one years' worth of petrol price updates. After this year is up, you will need to reactive your subscription to PetrolPrices Pro. Don't worry - this will all be explained at the time, and you'll be guided through this simple process inside the app itself.
Search Limit
You can perform unlimited GPS searches with PetrolPrices Pro when "Use my current location" is turned on. For free-text searches you are limited to 20 searches per week, this is to stop the petrol stations from freely searching their competitors. However, searching for a particular location for a specific fuel type will only use up one of your searches the whole week, no matter how many times you search for it.
