About Murco Fuel
The Murco brand was established in 1960, and since then, it has grown to become a familiar forecourt name throughout the UK. In 2014, the Murco retail business was sold by Murco Petroleum to Motor Fuel Group (MFG), a significant independent fuel retailer in the UK. There are now close to 170 Murco sites, with around 0.5% market share of retail fuels sold. A complete rebrand of Murco took place in 2016, and MFG aims to continue to grow the number of dealers. Murco also offers the MFG EV Power brand at several Murco sites as they look to provide traditional fuels and EV chargers.
In addition to the Murco dealer network, MFG has around 900 company stations throughout the UK, operating under the leading fuel brands and the EV Power brand along with convenience and ‘food to go’ brands such as Londis, Budgens, Subway, Greggs and Costa.
